We have been told that we were crazy for thinking that we would run operations completely with volunteers… that is, until we tried it and it actually worked—real professionals, real dreams, and truly dedicated volunteers.

We have been told that we were crazy for even attempting to raise such large amounts of money.... Until we told them how we were going to do it.

When you donate money to The Mars Initiative (TMI), it is unlike donating to any other Nonprofit Space Advocacy Organization out there. As a donor, you will know and will be able to follow every cent of your donation all the way to Launch Date.

And do you know what is even better? You even have the opportunity to put your name on each one of your donations to help you follow and keep track of where your donation is at any given moment. We keep a running tally of our Account Balance on our website (yes, our bank account) located here.

However, you don't have to take our word for it that the transactions listed on our website match what the bank account balance truly is because we upload all bank statements to our website too so you can download and archive them if you so choose. Note: For the security of the account, only the last four digits of the account number will be displayed.
